About Wherever The Need Wherever the Need is a facilitator for individuals in developing countries to take control of their lives and work their way out of poverty. They do this through several key steps: providing water (and its conservation); constructing eco-sanitation units (for families, schools and communities) and giving training in their usage; implementing livelihood programmes and through empowerment programmes that make people understand only they can walk the path out of poverty and take control of their own destiny. Whenever possible, it works on projects that are naturally sustainable, and implements them through processes that are environmentally sensitive.
